That time of the week again

Saturday's fair at Cricklade was so much fun, and being my very first ever event, was a real eye opener, encouraging me to book more!

Alas, may be a little too late for a lot of these Christmas fully booked fairs

So many fabulous stalls, with gorgeous displays and so many knick knacks and treasures to buy! Here's to the next one!

It would have been nice for a pleasant lay in after Saturdays early alarm call, but alas, a boot sale bargain hunter lays in for no-one, off I went at 7am the following morning and came back armed with a gorgeous yellow 60's suitcase, a 1930's gramophone, 1960's record player, a pile of 50's teen books, some retro forks, a couple of 50's games and oh I could have come back with so much more! Today's task is my normal weekly jaunt to the auctions. My tell tale stomach ache is here, I get so tense and anxious the morning before a sale, oh the stress of wanting something so bad and not knowing whether I will get it!

Wish me luck!

I can't do anymore! not tonight! Fit to drop!

Spent the day pricing the remainder of the vintage ephemera and sorted out my least favourite china and tagged them and wrapped them up ready for sale at the Vintage Fayre, Cricklade, on Saturday. Amongst all I found another box of items I'd forgotten about which included a nice set of salter scales, a Schweppes soda bottle and an art deco trophy which I particularly like but have no room for.

Whilst all this mad sorting has been going on, our house might as well have had a big cross on the door - tummy bugs, manflu and general hysteria was present throughout the week. Needless to say, I'm shattered after a week of fayre sorting/nursing/housework etc.

Tomorrow I'm pricing my Blyton & Ladybird books. Yawn. After a lazy breakfast with a good friend of mine. Most deserved even if I do say so myself!

First vintage fayre!

Very excited to be doing my first vintage fayre in a couple of weeks! Held at Cricklade town hall on the 5th November, this event will be raising money for Wiltshire Wishes and will include many vintage and non vintage stalls, gorgeous cakes and beverages served in/ on vintage crockery supplied by divinely vintage.

I shall be showcasing some of my wedding props and also selling vintage ephemera including Picture Post and Illustrated magazines from the '40's, ladybird and blyton books, glass and china ware from the 50-60's and much more! Do hope to see you there!
